Something I never see people talk about is how awful Haymitch’s Victory Tour must’ve been.

His family and girlfriend had already been killed at that point and when Katniss talks about the shame and the guilt she felt seeing Rue’s family I just think about how Haymitch had to go through that with FOURTY SEVEN FAMILIES! Even right after he won and went home he couldn’t have peace because not only he had to see Maysilee’s family which included her TWIN SISTER but also the grieving parents of the two other kids!
